LOP SWICTHES were designed by Roger Lopes and is the first ever knife/action rotary switch design in South Africa. The switches are manufactured in our South African factory to meet the most exacting South African market.

The switches are air brake devices, manufactured from wafers, each interlocking with one anothere from the base plate to the mechanism. Each wafer compiles with international regulations and specifications for switchgear manufacturers. This arrangement of contacts and wafers can be assembled to meet most circuit requirements. The switches can be supplied with a base mountings to suit 55mm, 75mm and 95mm escutcheon plates.

The switches are manufactured in our factory with the highest quality products ideally suited to motor controls, inductive circuits, isolators, selectors and auxiliary switching. The switches have proven to be virtually maintenance free even in most hazardous conditions, making them the most reliable and economical rotary switches in South Africa to meet the markets most exacting standards. LOP SWITCHES is well established and widely used by major switchboard manufactures.
